Problem Statement
The current methods of tuning an electric guitar are time consuming, and turn people away from even wanting to tune their instrument before they play. There needs to be a more sufficient way to tune one’s electric guitar.
Design Constraints
Tuner
· Must fit within a 3” by 5” space
· Must be able to pick up sound frequencies between 40-500 Hertz
· User must be able to see and access tuner with ease
· Cost must be under $30.00
· Must be capable of taking in data via digital input
· Must be built using easily attainable materials
Guitar
· Must weigh under 15lbs
· Must have non-switch activated output jack
· Must be capable of holding a sustained note
· Cost must be under $250.00
· Must have a clear space of between 2” by 4” or 3” by 5”
· Must fit within a 3” by 5” space
